TLA's Team Leadership & Character Coaching - in a sports culture where all too often individual goals define team outcomes TLA provides a dynamic team-based training that encourages players to align their heads and hearts with the 3 "S's" of Servant Leadership: Surrender, Submission, & Sacrifice. The power and value of having a dream are then conveyed in challenging teams to define a Definite Major Purpose (DMP) for their season, surrounded by (5) Foundational Goals, and a Daily Action Plan to achieve them. Each player's role and responsibility are then defined by the DMP, and how they can most effectively impact the achievement of the team goals as they are challenged to "Accept, Learn, & Excel in their Roles." Team camaraderie and accountability are then driven as players are paired as wingmen to pursue a daily championship shoulder-to-shoulder within their individual action plans (i.e. lifting, conditioning, skill development, etc.)

TLA then provides ongoing Mental, Leadership, & Character Coaching through a season-long "Journey of Excellence" Workshop Series that not only prepares the athletes to win championships on the field, but in life as well. Workshop topics include:

-Defining a Definite Major Purpose (DMP) - Pre-season
-Developing Focused Goals - Pre-season
-Developing a Champion's Mentality - Pre-season
-Being an Everyday Champion
-Becoming a True Warrior
-The Traits of Excellence
-Leading Yourself before Leading Others
-Forget Yourself
-ADDDing Wingmen: Creating a Band of Brothers
-Servant Leadership: Surrender, Submission, & Sacrifice

(*Note: Pre-season workshops can be offered in a day-long seminar or in 2-3 separate workshop sessions.*)
Program Supplements - additional offerings that assist in maximizing the benefit for a team.

Physical Development - through TLA's partnership with the Institute of Athletic Development (IAD) coaches can be provided with phased (in-, out-, during-season) lifting, nutrition, and conditioning programs to assist in the development of their players daily championship action plans.

Mental Development - TLA provides a "Mental Edge" book list that a text(s) can be selected from by a coach that will serve as a foundational piece in the workshops and team meetings throughout the season.

Spiritual Development - "One Heart; One Mind" Bible Studies, 1on1 or group Christian Coaching & Mentoring sessions, and a bible-based teaching can be integrated into all facets of the program to develop the players' hearts for the lifelong championships God is calling them to as "Men & Women of Influence."

Leadership Development - TLA also provides 1on1 or small group leadership coaching sessions for coaches and/or team captains to take the team material to a new level by training them on how to use their positions of influence of the team to integrate the material on a day-to-day basis in an effort to create a "Culture of Excellence."

Team & Personal Development (Mountain Retreat or Mission Program) - TLA provides 3-4 day "One Heart; One Mind" Mountain Retreats and 11-14 day "Discovering the Warrior Within" El Salvador Mission trips to provide a teambuilding and personal growth experience that goes well beyond the athletic field.

(**Note: Teams can take advantage of all or part of the program by bringing a TLA representative on staff as a Leadership & Character Coach, doing a weekly or monthly team workshop, or by just going through the pre-season training to focus everyone on a DMP for the season. In addition, a TLA representative can also serve as Leadership & Teambuilding Consultant for a coach to help him/her create a "Culture of Excellence" by integrating this material into his/her program.**)
